Meta Ads is the umbrella term for the entire advertising offering of the Meta corporation (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Audience Network). Advertisers create and manage campaigns in the Meta Ads Manager.

What is the difference between Facebook Ads and Meta Ads?+

Facebook Ads is technically a part of it, but colloquially often refers to the entire system. Advertisers create campaigns in the Meta Ads Manager that can run across all platforms simultaneously. The difference is primarily in terminology.
What does Meta Ads management cost at Weber Media?+
Our monthly management fee for Meta Ads is between €500 and €1,500, depending on campaign scope. The ad budget runs directly through your Meta Business account – never through us. We charge no percentage-based budget markups. In the initial consultation, we develop an individual quote based on your scope.
What are Lookalike Audiences and are they really effective?+
Lookalike Audiences are one of the most powerful targeting methods on Meta. The algorithm analyzes your best customers (e.g. via customer list or pixel conversions) and finds similar users on Facebook and Instagram. 1% Lookalikes are the most similar, 10% Lookalikes are larger but less precise. In our campaigns, Lookalike Audiences regularly achieve CPAs 40–60% below interest targeting.
Do we need the Meta Pixel and how is it GDPR-compliantly integrated?+
Yes, the Meta Pixel is indispensable for effective ads. Without it, no conversion tracking, no retargeting, no Lookalike Audiences. GDPR-compliant integration uses the Conversions API (CAPI) combined with a consent tool (e.g. Cookiebot, Usercentrics). We set up the complete configuration via GTM for all clients, including server-side CAPI tracking for iOS 17 data losses.
Meta Ads or Google Ads – which is better for us?+
Neither – both have different strengths. Google Ads works better when customers actively search for your offering (high search intent). Meta Ads is stronger for demand generation, branding, and reaching audiences not yet searching – e.g. for recruiting, owner acquisition, or e-commerce retargeting. The best results come from companies that combine both channels. We help with budget allocation.
How much budget do we need for Meta Ads?+
For initial reliable results, we recommend at least €500–1,000 monthly per campaign type. Meta algorithms need sufficient budget to complete the learning phase (50 conversions in 7 days).
