Hosting

This website is operated on professional hosting infrastructure. When you access pages, the hosting service performs technically necessary processing (e.g. in server log files: IP address, time of request, amount of data transferred, user agent). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and stable operation of the website). Where transfer to a third country cannot be ruled out (e.g. the USA), we rely — depending on the provider — on adequacy decisions or the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The current data processing agreement and further information are available on request or in the provider’s privacy notice once the hosting provider is contractually designated for ongoing operation.

General information and mandatory disclosures

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection requirements and this privacy policy.

You have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge, and to request correction, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object. For questions, please contact the controller named above.

Contact (contact form / email)

If you contact us via the contact form or email, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, message, and if applicable company) to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions. Form submissions are transmitted using encryption (HTTPS). Emails are delivered using a processor (email delivery service). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / contract initiation) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (effective communication). Data is erased once the inquiry is finally resolved and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of personal data. For Hamburg, the competent authority is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI).

On this website, Google Analytics 4 (statistics) and the Meta Pixel (marketing) may be used only if you expressly consent via our cookie banner. The legal basis is then your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25 TTDSG. Without consent, these services are not loaded. You can change your decision at any time via the cookie settings (stored in the browser / local storage).

Embedded content

Individual pages may embed third-party content (e.g. videos). The respective provider may process technical data. We embed such content only where necessary to display the page or where you have previously consented. Further information can be found in the providers’ privacy notices; for embedded players, the privacy configuration of the respective service at the time of embedding applies.

Applicant data

Applications are processed confidentially and in line with applicable data protection law. Legal basis: Section 26 BDSG, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Retention after completion of the process may be up to 6 months; inclusion in a talent pool only with explicit consent.
